AUBERON ENGLISH RHUBARB LIQUEUR & THE PIG HOTELS
"The Englishness Cup" Cocktail Competition — Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter
This competition is promoted by Auberon English Rhubarb Liqueur ("Auberon") referred to as "the Promoter”, of Atlantic House, 351 Oxford Street, London. W1C 2JF. Registered company number 17006692.

2. Eligibility
2.1 The competition is open to professional bartenders residing and working in UK hospitality at a licensed premises, who are aged 18 years or over at the date of entry.
2.2 Employees, contractors, agents and immediate family members of Auberon, The Pig Hotels, or any party connected with the administration of this competition are not eligible to enter.
2.3 By entering, participants confirm they meet the eligibility criteria. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the criteria.

3. Competition Period
3.1 The competition opens on 1st August 2026 and closes on 30th August 2026 at midnight ("the Closing Date"). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered.

4. How to Enter
4.1 To enter, participants must submit an original cocktail recipe using Auberon English Rhubarb Liqueur as a primary ingredient, together with:

• The cocktail name

• Full list of ingredients and quantities

• Method of preparation

• A brief description (maximum 100 words) explaining how the cocktail captures the spirit of Englishness

• A photograph or short video of the finished serve (minimum quality requirements to be specified)

4.2 Entries must be submitted via hello@drinkauberon.com by the Closing Date.
4.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
4.4 Entries must be the entrant's own original work. By entering, the entrant confirms the recipe and any accompanying content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

5. Judging
5.1 Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by the Promoter, which may include representatives from Auberon, The Pig Hotels and/or invited industry professionals.
5.2 Entries will be assessed on the following criteria:

• Creativity and originality of the recipe

• Use of Auberon as a primary ingredient

• Representation of Englishness in concept, ingredients and presentation

• Balance, drinkability and overall appeal of the serve

• Quality and clarity of the entry submission

5.3 The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to invite a shortlist of finalists to present their cocktail in person before a final winner is selected. Details of any such final will be communicated to shortlisted entrants directly.

6. The Prize
6.1 There is one prize, which consists of:

• One night's accommodation for two people in a double room (room category to be agreed with The Pig Hotels at time of booking) at a participating Pig Hotel of the winner's choice

• Dinner for two on the evening of arrival, including drinks, and breakfast for two on the morning of departure up to a total value of £750.00 (drinks, dinner, accommodation and breakfast).

6.2 The prize is subject to availability and must be booked and taken on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night only. Friday and Saturday nights are excluded, as are peak holiday season nights such as Christmas and Easter.
6.3 The prize must be taken by 30th June 2027.
6.4 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be taken as a cash alternative in whole or in part.
6.5 The prize excludes:

• All transportation costs to and from the chosen hotel, including parking

• Spa treatments, spa facilities and any spa day packages

• Room upgrades beyond the agreed category

• Additional food, drink or room service charges beyond the total £750.00 allowance 

• Any other extras, activities or purchases made during the stay

6.6 Participating Pig Hotels are subject to confirmation. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the chosen hotel is unavailable.

7. Winner Notification
7.1 Shortlisted entires will be notified by email/direct message on/before 4th September 2026, using the contact details provided at the time of entry.

7.2 The winner will be notified by email / direct message on 10th September 2026, using the contact details provided at the time of entry.
7.3 If the winner cannot be contacted, or fails to respond within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and select an alternative winner.
7.4 The winner's name may be made available on request. By entering, entrants agree that their name and county of residence may be shared publicly in connection with the competition result.

8. Intellectual Property & Use of Entries
8.1 The copyright in all entries remains with the entrant.
8.2 By entering, each entrant grants Auberon and The Pig Hotels a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and share their entry (including recipe, images and video) for marketing and promotional purposes across any channel, including social media, without further payment or approval. Entrants will be credited where reasonably practicable.
8.3 The winning recipe may be featured on Auberon's and/or The Pig Hotels' menus, website, social channels or marketing materials. No additional fee is payable for such use.

9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal data provided as part of this competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and, where applicable, fulfilling the prize.
9.2 Data will be processed in accordance with Auberon's Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties other than The Pig Hotels and any parties involved in prize fulfilment.
9.3 By entering, participants consent to their data being used for the above purposes. Participants may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting hello@drinkauberon.com.

10. General
10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel this competition at any time, and to amend these Terms & Conditions, where circumstances beyond their control make this necessary.
10.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received for any reason including technical failure.
10.3 The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury sustained in connection with this competition or the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
10.4 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform through which it may be promoted.
10.5 This competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
